OFNTSC’s Asset Management team will also be hosting two Climate Risk Assessment workshops in Serpent River First Nation as part of ongoing Asset Management (AM) and Climate Risk Assessment (CRA) project work. These sessions are intended for information sharing and collaboration and will provide insight into current work underway within the Asset Management department. There is no public registration available at this time.
The workshops will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on:
- March 5, 2026 – Workshop 1: Infrastructure and Climate Scope Definition
- March 6, 2026 – Workshop 2: Definition of the Risk Assessment Elements
Together, these workshops will focus on:
- Discussing the context of climate change
- Identifying key community assets
- Identifying relevant climate hazards and thresholds
- Defining a severity rating scale
These sessions are part of ongoing project work and are designed to support long-term, climate-informed planning for community infrastructure and assets.
