OFNTSC’s Asset Management team will be hosting two Climate Risk Assessment workshops in Mississauga First Nation as part of ongoing Asset Management (AM) and Climate Risk Assessment (CRA) project work. These sessions are intended for information sharing and collaboration and will provide a look into some of the current work being led by the Asset Management department. There is no public registration available at this time.

The two workshops will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on:

  • March 3, 2026 – Workshop 1: Infrastructure and Climate Scope Definition
  • March 4, 2026 – Workshop 2: Definition of the Risk Assessment Elements

Together, these workshops will focus on:

  • Discussing the context of climate change
  • Identifying key assets
  • Identifying relevant climate hazards and thresholds
  • Defining a severity rating scale

These sessions support active project work and help advance community-based planning by integrating climate considerations into infrastructure and asset management decision-making.
